les didn't get unlucky. everything that happens to les happens because of les.

If Jefferson is ineffective next week, and maybe the week after that too, you don't think Les will opt for Lee at some point, even if we lose one of those two games because of poor QB play?

nope. les is just too stobborn.

I disagree...I don't blame Les for those fumbles or the holding call on the TD.

anyone who still believes anything Miles says in press conference/interviews/radio/etc. deserves to be punched through a brick wall.

After we lose two games? yeah probably. By then it will be too late.

Count me in the group that doesn't want to lose a game because we didn't make a timely change.

I'm not advocating that JJ be benched next week. But why not script series for both QB's and then go with the hot hand? Additionally, giving live playing time to Lee now in relatively winnable games will ease the transition if Lee has to become the starter against more formidable opponents later.

Stubbornly doing nothing different after last week appears to be an error.

To anoint him starter after one pass attempt is silly.

Very few posters have stated that Lee should start. You will see the vast majority of the posters stating that they would like to see him play.

the shocking fact is that Miles says they have no plans of playing Lee at all this week despite the abysmal performance by Jefferson last week. He "can't even envision that". As if the fans are complete idiots for thinking PERHAPS Lee could help our stagnant passing game so maybe he should be given a few snaps to see what he could do. Nope. Let stick with what hasn't been working for over a year now. They are not even going to give him a chance. Not even a series or two. Very puzzling.

I am unable to differentiate what they are calling for...I am assuming that they want Lee to start...

I think its time to at least try a two QB system. Several teams have done it and been successful. Why can't LSU? Give the game to whoever starts getting the hot hand. You could argue rhythm would get hurt but you can't knock it until you try it. Give the game to whoever starts getting hot and put the other one on the bench. Do it until someone separates.

I'm sorry but JJ has shown almost no progression from last year so far. Can we really afford to wait until we lose to a team like MSU before we bench JJ?

If anything, JL at least deserves a chance. He has been nothing but a pure team player for the past two years. I honestly don't think it matters with either though. JJ doesn't have the mechanics/mentality yet and JL just can't get his mental game going. If JL ever gets over his mental hurdle, he is going to be a great QB...story of LSU past two years with QBs.

I'm a "what can you do for me now" kind of guy. How are the QB's performing in 2010 is way more important than how they stunk it up in 08 and 09. Bottomline Lee has outperformed JJ in the spring and what we've seen of him in the fall. LM hasn't posted individual stats on the QB's this fall to inhibit people questioning his QB situation.

+1, all that matters is who can do the best now. from all accounts, and what we have been able to see on the field.....JL is that man, not JJ.

Florida 06 pops right out of my mind. They won a NC with Tebow and Leak splitting time.
