This game was meaningless...I think the extra time will benefit the Tigers. They seemed to be a little winded after the Florida and Kentucky wins...

Just got back from the game. The Tigers did look a little tired compared to their previous games. Concerning the refs, the refs didn't loose the game, but LSU is so thin on the bench, depending on how the refs call the game, it can really put LSU at a disadvantage, because they basically only have 5 players. So if the refs start call it close on them, they have to back off like they did today. State played well, but LSU had to adjust to the officiating. It will take quite some time to develop a solid team that includes depth. Depth is this team's weak spot obviously, and they can be impacted by the way the game is called because of it.

Well if the officiating is an issue in conference play (which it usually is)...its because of the large number of teams in the NCAA and not enough good officials to go around. That shouldn't be a problem when the big dance starts. The SEC might have the lowest number of entries of all the major conferences. GO TIGERS!!!!!
