I don't care if he's on the LSU board. That was a foul in any league, anytime, anywhere. Barnes got beat, own it.

Could have been a joke gift from a friend. I have given LSU shirts to die hard Bama Miss St etc friends and they smile the same.

I never really noticed he flopped that bad until seeing this gif. My god Rodman couldn’t flop like that in his prime!

It was a Toonces shirt anyways. Guy isn't an LSU fan.

I was thinking the same thing.

LSU fans don't wear Toonces.

He should apologize right after the SEC apologizes for Ritter going in dry on us repeatedly over the years. Or the SEC for letting Alabama graduate Steve Shaw be in charge of ALL the officials. They can GF themselves

Williams did a lot of whining Saturday. I hope UK beats the shite out of them next Saturday, their coach and players did far less crying over a more controversial call.

I can't believe the SEC actually commented on this the way they did. Sankey is such a loser. Of all the things they have supported or not commented on, they comment on some social media post from 5 years ago from some ref joking around. The best part is some loser Tennessee fan most likely had this ready to go in anticipation of their loss or was searching deep and hard immediately following their loss in order to post it and have the SEC commenting on it that fast.

It's not that he was biased in any way. it's that you just can't have any official with personal biases for one of the teams to have any part of that game.

Except in football where you can have sons of former bama players calling bama games and bama alums calling bama games. That’s different for some reason. Makes sense

Someone needs to call the Waaaaahhhmbulance.

That picture was in 2014 and the dude isn't an LSU fan.

It was on WWL news and Herb Vincent was the one who commented that the SEC doesn't approve of pics that but the official has fairly called games for many years.

Agreed but not a word is said by the league office about that. Why?

Also, I’m concerned about the fact the official having so many bama colleagues and friends. Why is he allowed to do LSU games if he’s associated that closely with the bama program?

For the record, Jordan not doing another LSU game would be a favor in the eyes of many so please continue with the bitch fest Vols

Yeah, and no one who goes to SLU is an LSU fan. Come on, if this was the other way around this board would be going nuts - even though the call was correct.

so maybe they can also fix the football refs being from, fans of and living in Alabama while they are at it.

I'm not sure which is the most saddening. The time when this lie was invented or the fact over the years people keep repeating the lie.

There is no truth to this statement.

Really dumbass?? Get your head out of your, I mean, the sand. Note the source is a Tuscaloser publication.

Presenting Steve Shaw, Bama Grad

And before his elevation to this position he was an on-field head referee for SEC football games.

And the ref in question lives is from Georgia, dumbass.

Shaw works in Shoal Creek. Where else would you expect him to live?

The OP talks about how all the football refs are from there. It's a lie. Tom Ritter, as proven on this very site, doesn't live in Birmingham. [link=(He's a Nashville guy.)]https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/lsu-sports/where-did-ritter-go-to-college-what-is-his-home-state/29417089/[/link]

Penn Wagers, who is now in the ACC, was from South Carolina.

Matt Austin, who was the ref in the Bama game last year, is from Kentucky and lives in Louisville. Stan Weihe is another Kentuckian.

This is just another example of a fan, thinking he's onto something, post what amounts to a ridiculous rumor and his theory has no truth to it. The sad thing is you, and others, continue to believe what is a lie. No if's, and's or but's. A. Downright. Lie.
