i agree re: Michigan for the fact that Denardo & the "spread offense attack from the Maize and Blue" is exciting for fans & young recruits who seem to like to watch his exciting style
heck--he ran all over a more balanced/talented team vs Ohio St. today if not for 1 critical, late-game pass/INT;
But Bowls = recruits who are looking @ teams who win pressure games vs. real-opponents [something the NCAA doesn't care about, meh]..as well as atmosphere, not just the "best coaching staffs" although that's what us older fans would like to think..
Our man KEKE & other players have made insightful comments to that point.
Even top recruits talked about it @this years showdown w/ then-top-ranked Gamecocks,
i recall a blue-chipper saying, "it's not what alotta u older fans think,
for us, win or loose is secondary if the 2 teams are closely matched--we want to see the amazing loud fans & support, the noise of 90k fans who'll be cheering for *us* when we get to this program & take the field in all that elexticity..etc."[/b]
--oh yeah, all the Denardo & Michigan talk reminded me of something that made ZERO logical sense to me this season:
Wolverines' scheduling-department who totally blew it by agreeing to have
Denardo & offenwe face up to N!cky's monster-defense in week one--on Nat'l TV in the FAIRYjerryDOME,
Robinson needed a few weeks of warming up//fine-tuning their system b4
facing a brutally talented Saban defense;
if they'd have scheduled that game in mid-season, Nicky woulda won-- but Denardo & Wolverines woulda had lots more confidence/tempo.

Looks right on to me.
Only question is who Sugar takes, OU or Clemson.
If they take OU, we get Clemson in Peach.
If they take Clemson, we're probably stuck with NC State

LSU vs USCw in the Chicken Bowl- I'd pay to see that.

Cotton isn't gonna let A&M get by them if they have any chance of selecting UT

Bowl presidents are going to push hard for a Texas AM - Big 12 matchup....

If uga loses seccg cap one isn't taking them two yrs in a row. Lsu would go. If bama loses cap one may take em

might get Clemson in the Peach... wouldn't be so bad.

S car just won... Outback out of the picture for us now... Chicken sandwich bowl almost a certainty
Posted on 11/24/12 at 9:31 pm to Elleshoe
Wouldn't mind that. Just can't see bama losing to Uga so I think cap one is likely. But i wouldn't mind chick fil a if it means a bama loss

Please post less stupidity. Usce beating or losing to clemson is irrelevant. Cap one wasn't taking usce over us.

Looks like Clemson in Chicken Bowl ... at least it's not NC State.

Screw you... I think a s car loss would have made it interesting for outback bowl. You must not have a brain

we'll see what Cap One does... I see your point about UGA but I think they'd still get in

If uga loses think of what happened to us in 05. Top ten team. Had been to cap one yr before. Lost seccg. Went to chick fil a. That's ur scenario

I mean... if you think what happened in the past really has any bearing on what will happen this year. Doesn't really mean anything.
