I have a theory that Stud's weight has a lot to do with him not coaching with fire.
This is a great Rant theory.

Stud needs to do a little reading on gut size and added risk of heart disease and diabetes. I don't get is why a sports professional chooses to go down that path, but whatever. That nasty f'er Gibbs that coached the OL in Denver and ATL was the extreme opposite, skinny and mean as hell, but got his guys to perform.

Where do they plan to play Copeland inside or out???

BN, did you see the film on him? I don't know if you played much defense, but he looks really comfortable coming off of the end. However, if he's anywhere above 280 right now, I think he moves inside (at least to start).

As far as leadership, that is heresay. Not to take a jab at CA, but a former crab who is now on the outside looking in (friends with some players or not) does NOT have as clear a picture as led to believe.

Who are you kidding? Anyone who has spent some time in the locker room, lined up next to, spent time in the weight room with know where the leadership is. Doesnt take years to figure that out. Not hearsay. Most could figure that out in a week or 2. If you have ties to stud then you know the pressure points. Some ranting by a "crab" shouldn't have an impact if you have confidence in the process. If not then this is just another avenue for exposure to the problem.

well i just wanna say thanks for the insight. made for some good reading. i also want to wish you luck in your endeavors.

i would also like to add that while most of your responses are personal opinion, the rant is a very fickle place and what you say here can easily be misinterpreted and blown out of proportion. also being that you identified yourself remember the fact that what you say you could potentially be held accountable for. i dont want to scare you off or anything, i just dont want you to end up eating your words.

but anyway, thanks again. hope you stay around and post a bit every now and then. the rant is pretty addictive at first, you have to learn balance...

you have given me high hopes for next year when i had little. even if it wont work out the way i hope i thank you for giving me something to look forward to.

since this is a Q&A... where do you think you will watch the games at next season? student section, or will you be able to get on the field?

I haven't read through all gazillion pages of this thread, but have read enough about Stud to be really really concerned. I have often thought he reminded me of Smoke-not just the girth, but the fact that he seems complacent and willing to sit on his fat arse too much. Sounds like a fair comparison, and we know how that worked out.
