Embassy suites has a solid "chef" cooked breakfast and free open bar for 2 hours from 5:30-7:30.

Many people stay in Council Bluffs, Iowa and make the love 5 minute drive across the river to downtown Omaha for each game.

When I went to the capital one bowl back when we played Iowa ( 
), we stayed at a smaller hotel and the bar manager challenged us to drink all their booze in 2 hours. Needless to say, she was impressed. Thank god it was free 
And I can't imagine they'd take that amenity away. One of the better ones embassy has that attracts people. The rooms are just okay but I'm a hotel snob

I've never been and if my work schedule allows it, I'm going to try and make it. I'll have plenty of family and friends going since they're all LSU nuts

I'll say this about Omaha. They love them some LSU fans. Everywhere we went we got compliments about how LSU always shows up and "thanks for coming" and all that stuff. And I mean everywhere we got the same good treatment. Even the black dudes scalping the tickets told me he missed LSU being in it because of how many people are there to buy up tickets

we are FAR AND AWAY the most wanted fans in omaha since the 90's...my family and friends don't even get hotels anymore...they stay with locals
