When you consider the defensive coaches and their respective positions of responsibility, regardless of which players are on the field, they are productive in their play. Whether they are young or experienced, Chavis, Cooper, and Haley have them ready to play. Even the players who come to LSU and are converted from offense to defense seem to excel, time after time.

Not so much on offense.

To me, the evidence of quality coaching is player/position development. If you have talent, the development of a player should be evident over his career. We have had too many talented players on offense underutilized or regress in their development. Fank Wilson is the only coach on offense I have any confidence in.

Whomever is brought in to replace Gonzales, and what ultimately happens at OC, will determine whether or not LSU football gains dynasty status.

P.S. I would rather stick a pencil in my eye than talk about QB's.

We've gotten good play out of our TEs as well.

You could make the argument that they've been underutilized but they've been good at blocking and running routes.

It doesn't matter who the position coaches are or who the offensive coordinator is. This is Les Miles offense. He runs the ship. If you are disappointed by the offense look at Les. Urban Meyer is an offensive minded coach and had great offenses, Nick Saban is a defensive minded coach and has great defenses. This can be said for many head coaches around the country except ours. Don't get me wrong, I think he is a good manager of a program, and a solid head coach if he let someone else run the show.
