I know the defense has major issues to work out and they are the biggest reason LSU lost yesterday. If our defense played with a pulse, we should have been up by a couple of touchdowns.

However, we had four downs on the half yard line to punch in a touchdown and win the game. I feel like this is being overlooked. There was some poor play calling in that moment. There should be concerns over E and Scott's ability to call plays.

I guess the only bright spot to not punching it in is that the pitchforks and rioters are now Officially out for Pelini.

Had we scored and won, people would still be rightfully pissed about the defense, but I don’t think it would be to this level. By actually losing the game, I think the conversation sincerely starts about how to get rid of Pelini, either during the season or immediately after.

It was easy to chalk up MissSt as an anomaly given the circumstances, but now it’s clear to everyone that the D has major issues and a change will have to be made

And if the offense does is not given turnovers already in scoring position, what are the point totals then? MO may have beaten us as bad as Ms St who is an SEC bottom dweller not a top team

Hard to win many games when you don’t convert a single third down

What really kills me is that that last drive was called and executed to absolute perfection right up until it was first and goal. Then it went to compete shite.

Understatement of the year.

That last drive was called perfectly, getting LSU the chance to win the game without letting our D take the field again, which would have lost the game.

The hurry up run on second down has worked well. If MB lobs the ball on third down, we win.

The fourth down call was shaky. MB panicked a little.

What concerned me the most is how ineffective our offense was in the first half at TOP. They may have scored but three of their scores were set up with short distance by special teams or the defense. I think that the defense played bad but it didn't help with them getting gassed in the first half by being on the field 2/3 of the time.
