I agree with you, man.
It makes no sense. You mention actual numbers and everyone calls you a basher or whatever the term is this week.
I agree with you about Burrow too. The kid is a warrior and he doesn't shy away.
I don't agree with the whole 70% thing. I just don't. That's just ludicrous.
BJ wants to say he'll make that, have at it. It certainly isn't realistic though.

1) Burrow will throw 68%+ completions, 70%+ not unlikely.
2) Throw for 3500+ yards. 4000+ is not unlikely.

You guys got a QB who is 100% the equal to Dwayne Haskins (yes, a little better, IMO). And your O-Basher cronies want to insist that he is just a "better than average" QB, tough and likable. Not a Top-5 QB pick.

You ripped on a certain QB at Alabama and believe me I hate having to defend Alabama but that kid is borderline amazing.
Burrow is solid. He's a warrior. I'm glad he's here. I don't think he'll finish between 68-70% completion rate as you've been hollering about for the last several months. He'll do very well, that's my expectations but I don't see that happening.

Thanks for posting yet another presumptive example. I've never said I didn't support Burrow or have said he's not a good QB. I expect great things from Burrow this season. The rub is that you act like you're married to the man. If the kid does great, which I think he will, everyone will rejoice.
You're acting like I want the kid to fail and I've said numerous times I do not and I love the kid and his dedication.
