No. No he wasn't. He sure as hell didn't have anywhere close to top 5 numbers anyway.

Season hasn't started yet Slick.

Maybe his numbers will improve this year? I sure as hell hope they do because last year was a disappointment for most the season.

LSU was expected to win 6 or 7 games, and finish the season unranked. Instead, won 10, and ranked 6th in AP final poll. And Burrow did this with WRs who dropped the most passes in the SEC. & nearly the most drops of the 65 Power-5 teams (ranked 57th of 65 in drops)

Disappointment? Maybe if you were hoping for LSU to tank, and Coach O fired.

LSUs WRs dropped the most passes in the SEC & nearly the most drops of the 65 Power-5 teams (ranked 57th of 65 in drops)

So either the LSU WRs didn't get reps, or that was maybe the worst SEC WR room in recent history. I'm going with not anywhere near enough reps.

But YOU told us that the drop stats are not an official stat of college football. YOU told us that only teams keep this information. YOU told us that this information does not leave the WR rooms.

Again, YOU said all of this.

So how is it that you have access to these accurate numbers? You discredited numbers somebody else has posted by using the above argument. But you found numbers that fit your argument, so those are now accurate?

Ask Tom Fornelli who writes for CBSSports -

I'm guessing CBS has their own stats crews.

Or check out Bill Connelly's numbers on "catch rate" (strictly targets and completions - no subjective "drops") Connelly's numbers tell the same story - not one LSU receiver with 4+ targets had 60% or above catch rate.

Why should anybody have to ask him? You are the one who told all of us that nobody keeps those stats, except individual teams and they never leave the rooms. When did your argument change? Was it before, or after, you found someone with posted stats to fit your narrative?

Remember, he said himself that he doesn’t really concern himself with stats so I’m not sure why he’s so hellbent on arguing about them now. Just something different to do since all his other garbage blew up in his face, I suppose.

That's also very true. When you post numbers to prove he is a moron, his response is that numbers don't matter.

When he post numbers then they tell the whole story.

And he's too stupid to realize his constant contradictions.

Well that number could also tell you that Burrow wasn't very accurate. How can you conclude drops from a stat that doesn't calculate drops?

Every pass Burrow threw was edited and posted on the rant a week or so ago. If you can watch that, and conclude that Burrow isn't accurate then we have nothing more to discuss.

It turned out to be a pretty good year for the team.

Disappointment?

Yes. Offensively it was disappointing for much of the season. The offense disappeared for quarters at a time during some of last years games, and were inconsistent week to week. And it didn't matter what kind of competition they were facing. Good or bad.

And some of those disappointing inconsistencies falls on the shoulders of your beloved Joe Burrow, since he's the quarterback and supposedly the "leader" of the offense and the team.

Like it or not, if you're going to heap a ton of praise on the young man for good games, you have to place some of the blame at his feet for the poor offensive games as well.

That's the way it works joe. Life ain't fair, but that's the way it is.

No contradiction. you have to have the football chops to use the stats - clearly you do not.

Why? You aren’t concerned with stats, remember? You said it yourself.

Why change your mind on that all of the sudden?

He only uses them when it works in his favor.

I don't believe I've ever seen someone contradict themselves as much as this clown does.

He's not contradicting himself (he probably doesn't know what that word means though). It's just that nobody else on this board understands football on the level he does.
