No, but I believe he delegates much of the micromanagement, based on some of his own statements. He seemed surprised at various calls and management issues.

Hate to bring this up, BUT Saban did this same thing though at a higher level. He was NOBODYS friend. I am here to win football games. BOTTOM LINE!!! If you mess up there is NO pat on the butt. Sit your arse down until you get it right. I have someone else who wants it more!!! MIles does not have THIS mentality!!

You need to move to Tuscaloosa, Bama Boy. That way you can have easier access to Saban. You can peek into his windows at night while he showers and check out his ball sack that you crave so much.

Who was the WR he benched then let back in the game? I didn't know you played for Saban. You really should move no way you can reach his sack from here.

I just DON'T SUCK miles NUTS like you!!! IMO Saban DID more for LSU than Miles has. Its pretty simple.We have been through this before rocket. YOU LOSE EVERY TIME!!!!!

Saban may have delegated, but still seemed to be more involved. All coaches delegate to a degree.
I don't think Miles has a coaching identity, it seemed to be lost after the '07 season. Maybe this is the year we will see it. Comparing Miles and Saban isn't real easy to do, both have differing styles.

The truth...
Les has put up great numbers but in the last two years fallen on hard times. He seems to have lost control in 08 and moved in the right direction the next year. He's done a nice job getting players to LSU and perhaps has slipped on some asst coaches. That said, it's not as bad as most narrow minded on here make it out to be. Duke please go get Nicky to come back so you can be happy. Other than that STFU about what Nick did v Les. Les didn't run Nick off. If you want a new coach say so but frick don't covet what you wont get.
Also, have a little faith, if not then you're just another bammer fan and stop posing as an LSU fan. Geaux Tigers

The truth? That you long and lust for Saban in a romantic way? That you'd been taking anti-depressants since Saban left and you've been getting written up at your job at the Dollar General for coming in late and underperformaing at your job because of a state of depression since 2005?

gambling man says take the over. but it is so foggy with the unknown at QB. We did run the ball a lot better last year in certain spots and our D showed that they would be a typical tenn defense (lose to fla, etc. bend, bend and break on occasion). if we run more consistently, which I believe we will and our D-line plays better we will be better than 7-5. lets let the season play out. who knows with this bunch.
