re: Objective Ranking of LSU Offense in SECW

Outside of Bama, the offense averaged 28 points a game in sec play, including games against tough defenses like state, Florida, and Georgia. The numbers are in front of your face, and you are so upset someone posted something positive, it is like you are about to jump. Again, lsu took the lead in both road losses, with 4th quarter offensive touchdowns. The defense could hold. That is a fact.

Honestly ben, a lot are just part of chickens army. There are a few genuinely miserable people that get upset when you post something positive, but for the most part it is pretty easy to pick out the army. I know someone involved...it is very real.
Sounds like the only one getting upset here is you
Perhaps you should calm down, pal

I've never thought of this, I just thought that most, some in this thread, were just super dumb.

And speaking of objectivity, you conveniently set these starts up so a&m would end up behind us. So of the good teams in the West this year, we had the worst offense. Yay!
Auburn, OM, State and Arkansas were all terrible this year.

No. We all know lsu is the only one that played defense this year, and had defensive scores and/or gave the offense good field position, right? Lol
Btw, good take on rice and the 7ot game...except for one small little problem, THOSE numbers weren't included. Lol

Instead of taking out the Bama game, remove the A&M game and see where we rank
If we are going to skew stats let’s do it both ways
You're welcome to start your own thread with the numbers skewed however you want. His scenario wasn't meant to favor any school.

Here are some facts for you. The offense scored 19 vs. MISS St, 19 vs. Florida (a LOSS), 36 vs. Georgia, and 0 vs. Bama (LOSS). So 2-2 with an average of 18.5 points per game. See stats work any way you want to twist them. I choose to count the Bama game.

You could have just stopped at "no," Mr Objective.

Good thing I didn't say they were.

I’m not here to push a narrative so I won’t skew any stats.
If you want to get an accurate statistic, you remove the highest and lowest. If you just remove the lowest, you’re just an idiot

I had no idea how things would shake out. Unlike you, I'm objective. The simple reason I did this was because I read where some of you were bashing the offense for the entire season, and not just the Bama game. I wanted to see where lsu stacked up outside of the Bama game. I was surprised, I honestly figured OM and a&m would be ahead of lsu...at least.

The fact is you should start your own thread to discuss your twisted numbers.

So skewing the numbers makes you objective? Ok buddy

I'm not favoring anyone. I'm not an OC, but did coach on the defensive side of the ball for many years, but at the HS level.
Now I've read your posts on here for a while now. I generally skip right over yours, and several others, because if there is one thing certain about you, is that there is zero objectivity as it relates to the current lsu coaching staff.

Again if you don't like it start your own. You got the highest and lowest from another poster and want to call someone else names. He took the bama game away from all teams and didn't count the overtime scores. He applied the scenario fairly.

Skewed? I removed the clear #1 from all schedules. It was based upon an argument in another thread. Honestly, there is no debate that LSU faced the toughest sec defenses out of that group of teams. I simply wanted to see how lsu stacked up against other sec teams, outside of Bama.

Did you take in consideration all defensive, punt return, kickoff return touchdowns scored? How about turnovers and red zone offense? I mean a good defense can setup an offense in great field position and offense not get a first down but kick a field goal and get credit for 3 points.
Ex. LSU offense only scored 24 points not 31 before overtime against TAMU.

And you're wasting your time going back and forth with him. There's obviously something wrong with him and your doing yourself no favors. The only thing you stand to lose is IQ points.

LSU did not lose their #1 TE. Pettigrew would have played a lot and made an impact for sure, but Foster M. was one of the best all around TE’s in LSU history. Shame he had to be a glorified OT most of the year.
They will miss him next year.

You have no idea what objectivity means in terms of statistics.
This isn’t it
When you cherry pick the most favorable scenario and alter every other sample set accordingly, it is still cherry picking.
