He’s probably hoping for it, then he gets paid without having to do anything. I’d love nothing more than for LSU to be able to can his arse for cause. Make him sue you for the buyout and drag him through the courts.

A very small portion of the population can continue to drive themselves with so much money already guaranteed. It’s human nature to coast once you’ve made the kind of money he stands to make especially at his age. Tiger was one, Saban is one, but they don’t come along very often.

Seriously, I believe he cares deeply about winning, especially doing so as the head coach at LSU.
The problem for him---and, by extension, for his players and us fans---is he simply isn't up to the task.
Winning in the SEC West is HARD, and a team led by a staff-dependent HC simy won't win or(let's be real, given Bama) at least place in this division on the reg.
