Not the greatest! That needs improvement. Problem is JJ does not take advantage of the times the line does a decent job. It was obvious last night though that the line struggles in pass blocking

I said this earlier. Watch tonight. WVU was blitzing max of 4 most of the game and JJ had little time.

The line is not the problem this year...qb not progressing in his reads...there were players open last night, qb did not pick them up...don't know what his problem is, but its not the line, the receivers, and play calling is questionable, but how can you be aggressive with play calling, if qb can't execute?....NEED A CHANGE IN QB..let him sit his arse on the bench some....

How can you progress in your reads when you have now time to on most pass plays?

Good point, the O line was not stellar in pass blocking last night. It's not ALL JJ,even though he needs to step up.

OL pass blocking is worse than the QB play.

OL pass blocking is fine. when your qb has zero fricking pocket presence it makes it look bad....the kids are doin a good job. JJ is worthless.

If you watch JJ, he simply refuses to 'step up' in the pocket- this puts more pressure on the OL, when in fact, this is the QB's fault. In addition, JJ just cannot make a decision quick enough; he stands there in the pocket too long, becomes a sitting duck...

this is complete and utter bullshite

The line has improved significantly from last yr. The problem is JJ decides to tuck and run instead of making his progressions.

It's painfully obvious he has no confidence in his deep ball, or his receivers ability to make the play down the field.

Face it, our offense is crippled with JJ at the helm.

Did you even watch the game?

Do you even have a basic understanbding of how pass blocking works, especially when dealing with speed rushers? Do you consider 3-4 seconds acceptable time in the pocket?

If JJ gets the ball out to the open receivers in time, the blocking is adequate. HE HOLDS THE DAMN BALL TOO LONG!!! Understand this and then rewatch the game. It's there. He just can't do it. He either can't see it or is too damn scared to throw it.
