This was a good teaching moment for my wife. “WTF is wrong with Nussmeier?! “
I had to explain to her silent snaps counts, claps, motion and why the center snapped it early. He’s got his head to the left and signals the wr to motion from R to L. Definitely a combo of crowd noise and some sort of verbal ruse.

Still sounds like your wife is more knowledgeable than several Nuss haters on this board who stalk my posts.

You find it hard to believe that it was so loud the center wasn't able to notice the different between the QB and DL yelling? The noise was probably exactly why he couldn't tell the difference.
