Not the hire I expected

But the hire we needed. Kelly can win a championship. The more I look at his record, he has done more with less his entire career. The fact we stole ND’s winningest coach is the cherry on top; that is awesome. That is the biggest statement in this hire to the football world. LSU has the stroke and the desire to be a top flight program and everyone knows it now.

I agree. He left Notre Dame, the dream job for a lot of coaches, to come to the SEC West, at age 60. Why would he do that? Money? Sure, but I'm guessing he's set. He wants to win a championship and believed this was his best chance to do so. I can respect that.

Hahaha I once thought 60 was old until I hit 49; now, its not that old and people can still have a lot of fire at that age. 60 does not bother me one bit.

Exactly, age is all relative. I'm 49 also and nowadays the 60's are the new 50's, the 50's the new 40's, and so on.
