Not the end of the world + a few key takeaways. Geaux Tigers

1. Morrow & Reese can take over we just need them to stay out of foul trouble bc of our lack of depth.
2. Mikaykah had an awful game offensively and we still were right there at the finish.
3. Flau’jae is emerging as a go to option as a scorer. Much more confident and effective.
4. HVL is coming along, yes some tough turnovers but playing the #1 team in the country she made some key buckets and handled the ball well. Her best basketball is ahead of us.
5. Del Rosario showed she belonged tonight and can be a force. She’s the missing link we needed to emerge to be a force inside. She’s a specimen especially defensively.

For this team to make a run, we need another player or 2 to emerge off the bench.
Our starters are really good, but they were spent late in the game.

Here is mine:
1. Morrow is a little short and we miss Williams from last year
2. Morrow and Johnson were no were to be found the last 4 minutes.
3. Van Lith should play off guard and have Williams play point. We are a true point guard and another big from dominating
4. We have no depth
5. Reese doesn’t play smart even though 2 of her 5 fouls were BS.
6. We could have and should have won this game.

There’s literally zero point in talking about Alexis Morris.
I think Flau’jae needs more shots. The game needs to run through morrow and Reese.

I really had a that being without Samyah and Kateri would be the difference. Unfortunate. They would really help us down the stretch.
