You said if he wins a title next year, you won't support him. That would be plenty of justification. Again, frick you.

then you were never an LSU fan to begin with. I personally can't stand miles but I would never not cheer for that team in a national championship. I think he is a moron who gets lucky but I will always cheer for my team, even if hilary clinton was coaching.

Wow. So you hate a guy who stands for trying to make LSU the best in the league, and the nation? This is has to be the biggest pile of crap statement ever. Go play in traffic.

Seen a melt down like this for a team that lost in the freaking bcsncg. We finished second in the nation. Will start top 5 next year. Lost one game in an incredibly hard schedule. No doubt the last game dumbfounded me and pissed me off. But I am reading he has lost the team. Predictions of 6-5 next year. Why because you wanted lee to play. Or shep may be going pro for his family. No doubt there Are questions on the game planning and performance of the team. But it doesn't take away from one of the greatest seasons ever

Did you watch the game. I get fricking sick everytime I think about it. Get that self-righteous shite out of here.

I understand what you are saying, but when a program (and its fans) gets to the point where championships are expected and are the only true measure of success in fan's eyes, then "meltdowns" after finishing #2 are going to happen. Same thing would have happend on the Alabama boards had LSU won.

Time and perspective will reveal this to be a great team who had a great season that ended in a dissapointing and perplexing fashion. But expectations of the program (fair or unfair) will bring about "outrage" even in a year where LSU finished 13-1. LSU fans aren't alone, go look at some of the Pittsburgh Steelers boards after last week's loss to Denver. Steelers fans are furious and demanding changes, including the firing of their long time DC who had them ranked as a top 3 defense this year. This is a franchise that has played in 3 of the past 6 Super Bowls and WON 2 of those 3

I've been pretty consistent for the past couple of months in saying that, win or lose, what Miles was doing was plain wrong. What transpired on Monday night shows it went to a whole new level of disgusting. It's not all about wins and losses, bro. I literally hate what Les Miles stands for, and if he wins a NC next season, then I will not be cheering for that. I hope he doesn't.

Not sure I have ever seen a melt down like this for a team that lost in the freaking bcsncg.

And what "team" might that be? It sure wasn't the same "team" I saw annihilate Oregon, West Va.,
Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
I don't know what team that was in yellow pants and white shirts that strolled into the Dome Monday night, but it sure wasn't the LSU team that won 13 straight games in the Fall of 2011.

I'll see how all of y'all feel in 5 years, but for my part, I'm done with being a fan of college football, and now that I've taken that step, there is a little relief that comes with it.

Somewhere in the back of your mind, you've got to realize that this circus religion we call SEC football is getting more and more ridiculous.

Thank you, Les Miles, for lying to my face for 4 years and getting me to see this sooner rather than later.

I'll never stop rooting for LSU. Hitler could be our head coach and while I would have my doubts I would still be a fan of the tigers.

ETA: I guess I'm able to not get too emotionally invested in things outside of my immediate circle.

We don't expect championships every year.
What we DO expect is that we will always TRY to win, especially on the biggest stage in the biggest game. Always coming prepared. If we had lost 59-0 trying to win, throwing the ball downfield, abandoning the stupid option early when it clearly wasn't working, using all the weapons we had available, never giving up, I would have been over this loss yesterday. However I will never be over this putrid stinkbomb, never.

Bullcrap was the 90s. Losing to Ole Miss on a regular basis and being estatic in making the Independance Bowl in freaking Shreveport. A lot of teams would do anything to be in the shape LSU is in right now.

Exactly. And I never had a problem with LSU football when Curley Hallman was head coach. They lost, and sometimes they even lost stupid, but at least it was a more honest program than what we've got going on now.
