I really don't want to pile on Max because he's an outstanding young man and plays with a lot of heart. But I think we're running an offense that requires someone with more of a Burrow skillset than a Max skillset. Pre-snap, Myles is the closest on the current roster to Burrow. He reads the defensive alignment better and changes the calls for protection better. Post-snap, Nuss may actually be the most Burrow-like. He's got the grit and moxie to not panic in a crowded pocket and still look for the downfield throw. Max is a great kid and a decent QB. He just may not be the right fit in this offense.
