okay... so if not Miles, then who!? who would you have running this program so we are so feared!? who would you tab with bringing the fear back to our opponents?!... since you have such a strong case against Miles.

Last I checked, this is a Les Miles coached football team, it's not Chavis' team. It's Les' team. He should control all aspects of the game, or at least have some kind of say so in each aspect.
That's like saying if Sean Payton wasn't coaching the Saints in 2011 (2012 playoffs), SF never scores 2 late touchdowns to win the game and therefore, the Saints would have been better off.
quote:Coached by whom? It's all relative. Are there better coaches? Yes. Will they come to LSU? Maybe. Just point blank saying LSU would be where Bama is without Miles is plain idiotic. We could also be where Tennessee is.
Y'all are so quick to jump to his defense that you're blind to the fact that if it wasn't for him, we would be where Alabama is

We lost to two teams that we should've beat by two touchdowns easily,
Holy fricking shite some people really are fricking liars or just plain brain dead.
We should have beaten pre bowl 11 win Florida on the road and 10 win Clemson in ATL by 2 tds EASILY????
As if those aren't two top 10 level programs with loads of great athletes too

There's no reason that we shouldn't be top 3 nationally every year with the talent we have.
How many schools have finished in the top 3 for more than 2 years in a row in the BCS era??? I'll give you a hint, it aint Bama.
Go frick yourself you entitled clown dick.

I will say this.... Bama has dominated the last 4 years.unlike anyone else...........FACT...........

He stood on the sidelines on 1/9/2012 and dropped turd after turd while Saban shot multiple loads out of readily-built erections.

What does that have to do with that moron's comment that the only reason LSU isn't in the top 3 every year is that Miles is an idiot???
Even the top program in the country, and the coach whose nuts so many on here can't stop licking, can't achieve the success they assume LSU would so easily attain under any coach other than Miles.
Ridiculous entitled comments like that or that we should somehow be ashamed of close losses to Florida or Clemson are why the people the people that refuse to accept and enjoy the most successful period in LSU history are so fricking laughable.

Same ole argument over and over with tards about Miles. LSU's talent is tremendous every year because he has kept up the recruiting Saban started. Plus Louisiana is a hotbed for football talent per capita out of most states except Fla.
with stocked teams like that every season he should win games. Only school equal to him in the SEC is of course Saban coached Bama. LSU wins games because of sheer talent, has nothing to do with the coaching that has been abysmal the last few seasons. Losing that NC game to Bama was a great lesson on how he was outcoached. Making no adjustments at the half to beat these people. Ruining one of the greatest seasons ever.

he’s done well considering the qb situation for the past 6 years.

It just baffles me that not many people nationally respect Les Miles.
A lot of people remember the Ole Miss game in 2009, the Tennessee game in 2010, and the lack of a passing attack for the past five years.
What is there not to like?

that's what people do, blame it on the QB play. Not the suckfest offensive playcallin the last few seasons.

We beat'em in Red Stick in '10. And we've beaten them five of the last six trips to BDS (01, '03, '05, '07, and '11).

So LSU wins on talent alone. Nothing to do with coaching. Man, Saban should really pick up his recruiting then since that rag tag group of uncoached athletes has beat him 2 of the last 3 seasons with no coach.
Imagine how dominant Saban would be if he actually had good athletes too and wasn't coaching a bunch of Rudy's every year

I would say he means beat them when it counts. LSU could easily have those back to back ships if the coaching had been better. But IMO Bama had no business in that NC game in the Dome, they lost the first time, you don't get a second shot with implications of winning a national title especially when you aren't the conference champ. They had everything to win in this game and LSU everything to lose, and that's the way they played.

Nothing to do with coaching.
and the Rudy cliche stuff is silly as hell. Has LSU beaten them when it counts?? This is why it's a useless argument with you tards concerning Mile's coaching abilities. Anyone in the country can see how much NFL talent LSU has every season which is why they have so many players in the NFL now.

You say this,
And then you say this,
So, my answer is YES, they beat them when it counted.
On 11/5 in THE GAME OF THE CENTURY.
The media decided that wasn't good enough for whatever reason, which we seem to agree was bullshite.
When it counted, for the #1 ranking with the SEC and national championship race on the line, LSU beat Bama in BDS.
Any other team's title shot would have ended that night. So yeah, that was "when it counted".
