When I was a freshman at LSU in 92 in Power I got a knock on my door one day. It was Daddy Dale and JJ just coming to see how I was adjusting to campus life

if my life depended upon a team winning a college basketball game, I would want Bobby Knight coaching for me. Now, having said that, Bobby Knight was the ultimate bully, both with others and his own. And there was more than one college basketball official who got intimidated by Bobby Knight.
