No, you really can't. You'll hate Mett too & whoever plays QB at LSU.
Oh really so posting JJ's stats and quotes are the equivalent of hating him???? You sound just like JJ when you dont have facts or statistics to use to make a point you resort to flaming those who do. Tell me if JJ by some miracle transformation puts up good numbers this year and I post them will you accuse me of hating him?
Or a more likely scenario if by the end of his career here Mett has a season where he is the #1 rated qb in the country and i post his stats will you also accuse me of hating him? Flaming and making accusations of those who posts facts is the last resort who have nothing else to use.

Gonzo's a good coach, but had too many WRs dropping passes.
But we don't know how good of an OC he can be if we don't give him a shot.

I'll let the LSU coaching staff do the rewarding and at this time the "possibility of superiority" is in 3rd place.

that's the funny part, Roger & Rudy40, think Mett's right on the edge of taking the starting job.
Wow Hitchcock I dont even have to post I guess you feel your so smart you can read minds and post for other people? The funny part is you obviously think JJ is a good qb. I mean he did make the top 100 rated qbs in the country. I mean it would be ludicrious to for a fan to want to see a highly touted player come in and start over one of the worst players at his position in the country. Though I think Les is wed to JJ no matter what I am pretty sure I am not the only one wanting to see a competent qb out there and we know it isnt JJ.
Dont hurt yourself patting yourself on the back Hitchcock!!!!!

congrats on your stash of stats.

Of course.
It would go something like this: "Well, JJ proved he wasn't quite the same shitty QB this year, like he was last year."

Again when you dont have facts or logic on your side flame and accuse those who do. Straight from the Hitchock JJ handbook!
Again dont hurt yourself patting yourself on the back Hitchcock and watch it if JJ stops short all of a sudden wouldnt want you to hurt yourself.

LSU #8 in the country & 11-2. Michigan knocking on his door. He really didn't have to make a change, but he did.

But we don't know how good of an OC he can be if we don't give him a shot.

Yep, you love you some JJ! There's a lot of love in that post.

Yeah, but we finished 9th in the SEC in scoring offense and it was frustrating watching our QB only throw 7 TD's all year while blowing up the college football scene with around 1400 yards in the air. Not good. Must've been some major philosophical differences between Crowton and Miles. Just very weird. We won more games than the year before, produced more points per game but our passing offense didn't get any better.

I haven't flamed you...I've laughed at you, but there's no need to flame.
Facts: JJ is 20-7 as a Starter. Both teams he Started on were ranked in the Top 20. #17 (2009) & #8 (2010).
Are these stats false?

I will give you 2009 he was adequate. Are you really going to argue that 2010 JJ actually contributed to the success of that team in more than 4 games? He was the 100th rated qb in the country and had bad to horrible performances in 9-13 games he started. Sure he was the starting qb but they won in spite of him not because of him.
He wasnt even in the top 10 of SEC qb's Fact!

it'll be nice when next year starts and i get to watch some crow eatin'.........again.
Posted on 6/20/11 at 11:39 pm to Choctaw
Well if you win our bet you will have me eating crow and you will have Canes or Taco Cabana or whichever you pick. Check the other thread the one on Miles, Choctaw I made some minor changes to the parameters let me know if your good with them

You really think because ESPN interviewed Jefferson he is going to magically transform into a capable qb? Unfortunately Mett is probably not on the cusp of starting but I am guessing he wouldnt have said George when showed a pic of Thomas Jefferson???????

He made one snafu on George Jefferson, give him a break....I am sure all the rocket scientist on here would get them all correct
I'm 100% sure that my Louisiana public high school and L.S.U. education/degree will damn well enable me to identify images of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and George Jefferson.

Guess if you have terrible stats, but you win the game then you're a good Qb. (Finishing up my stats)
In 9 SEC games JL has 12 TD's and 10 Int's, or 1.33 TD/G and 1.11 Int/G
In 18 SEC games JJ has 20 TD's and 19 TO's, or 1.11 TD/G and 1.06 TO/G.
If you project JL to have had the same stats as his fresh year(which he was a INT machine) he would have had 24 Td's and 20 Int's.
Neither one is a great QB, and both struggle to stay average. However, statistically speaking JL is the better Qb. I did include JJ's rushing Td's for those who argue that is what sets him apart. So with adding the rushing I also added his fumbles. If you do it based on passing alone then it isn't even worth a look.

There you go again Cajun Football throwing out statistics and facts. You know the JJ defenders hate that and can only counter with flaming and pointing fingers at other players.
Your in for it now!!!!!!!!!!
