If they were asking me about famous people with my last name I am pretty sure I would.

Well, too bad you're just reduced to being a douche bag on a message board. You have nothing to worry about you fricking loser.

Eh...it was kind of embarrassing, but really no worse than what people get wrong on Leno's "Jay Walking" segments. Not everyone can have the collective intelligence and perfect SAT scores that the OT has.

Don't confuse The Rant and the OT. There are some on The Rant that are on a completely different level when it comes to bashing and degrading LSU players.

Serious question..... Why the sudden interest in JJ by ESPN? I thought ESPN hated LSU.

It is a strange event. Maybe ESPN see's something that LSU fans don't. They usually take every opportunity to make fun of JJ, CLM and LSU. Very strange all the positive attention they are giving LSU right now.

I really think it's more of a move on Miles' part to try and change the public opinion of JJ. Also i think ESPN wants to find out if LSU has what it takes to be a top 5 team. I mean they've said it all off season that JJ is the key to our season so why not talk to the man?

I was thinking the same thing. I can't remember a player having as bad a season as JJ and being a pre season Heisman hopeful. Should be entertaining to see the season unfold.

and earth to rant, JJ is not a "Heisman hopeful" the only people to say so are bleacher report and TD. but hopefully he can be a "capable qb."

I get ya, I don't follow much pre season news but I thought it was funny that he was mentioned by anyone. I thought only a die hard LSU fan could come up with something like that.

he's not one realistically. but when you have an SEC blog on ESPN.com that puts out content daily, and it's June, sometimes you'll get an entry throwing out wild ideas. like JJ or Caleb King as darkhorse Heisman guys.
