I’ll tell you one thing, I’d be much more inclined to donate $50 a month to LSU over paying 40% in fees on tickets to a game on a third party seller.
I know if it could easily be handled it would have by now by some team, but give me an LSU secondary seller app for ticket resale where my $75 ticket has a $10 NIL fee over a $75 StubHub ticket with $40 in fees and I’m good. It’s completely sad the way SeatGeek, StubHub, Ticketmaster have weaseled their way into game days.
I know if it could easily be handled it would have by now by some team, but give me an LSU secondary seller app for ticket resale where my $75 ticket has a $10 NIL fee over a $75 StubHub ticket with $40 in fees and I’m good. This is actually a fantastic idea. Hell, make it 25%. It would not be that hard to do in the paperless ticket age. Just make the tickets non-transferrable thru anyone but the LSU NIL entity by incorporating a digital signature.
