How many years does he have to spend being a coordinator before he's ready to be a HC again? Seems his 3 years of success at Bama would be enough.

Lane has been pushing for a HCn job and Saban was gonna help him regardless. This is why sark was brought in. This was the plan beforne Lsu came into the picture. But no coach wants to lose their OC to a rival so this isn't some Saban move that's unheard of. Of course he's two steps ahead at all times hence sark move

Which is why LSU should be working on an offer to Sark instead of waiting for Kiffin. If they can't outbid Bama for him after going cheap with O, then they have truly given up and the fans should too.

As much as I'd like to see this......it'll never happen, because of his recent scandal.
ETA- if he could be hired on as a consultant and stay behind the scenes....that would be great. Still don't think LSU would want him associated with the university in any capacity.

Ill admire Saban once he stops coaching bama. I just feel he giving the most undeserving fan base in cfb the best dynasty in cfb and frick that.
