How much baseball have you watched? If one team shows poor sportsmanship in such a manner as this a retaliation such as beaning someone can often be expected. Example, a batter hits a homerun and shows up the pitcher by showboating and watching it fly out rather than running, that batter can fully expect to get a pitch high and tight his next at bat.

Ok...I didn't realize this applied to base coaches too. My bad.

This. I thought i was never going to get home. Reminded me of the Vandy game we won, but i had to be at work early this morning so it made it worse.
