Does Kelvin Shepperd get moved to MLB? He seems kinda slow to be at OLB. Theriot is supposed to have some pretty good speed. I think he is still trying to learn the position though.

Yes he is big enough, but not nearly strong enough...he is one of the weakest weight room guys on the team...

I'd like to see 55, 54 and 3 playing linebacker next year.

55 and 54 are good friends. Built in chemistry.

Chad's coverage isn't that bad. It's usually due to matchups because it doesn't matter how athletic he is HE'S A SAFETY. He always gets manned up on a slot receiver which is a terrible match up for a safety.

Then what is the excuse for TEs owning him as well?

Sheppard, Riley and Cutrera are all good, but need better coaching to guide their play reaction. They don't seem to read the plays well. I saw all of them make huge hits, but more often they were totally out of place for plays and thus missed tackles. Bear in mind our DCs were also the linebackers coach. Baker looks promising, but young. Foyil is outstanding, but fought an ankle injury early this year. I'd put him on the same level as Cutrera if he's given the chance. He made some great hits on special teams. We'll see come spring. Clemons, I dont know. With a decent DC and other coaching, these guys would be really good.

i like baker. you can see from this special teams play this year he has that hitters instinct and is a solid tackler. he also loves to play. someone like that can really charge up a defense.

The key to the LB crew will who will start at middle linebacker and make the calls.Somebody needs to step up here.

All the difference in the world - even Oscar Meyer said the difference with UF this year was the leadership of Spikes on defense.
