Anyone who calls our place "nonchalant" didn't watch the game and doesn't understand basketball. While our talent level is not what it needs to be, the effort was certainly there. This team never quit.
This late signing period and transfer portal are extremely important to the future of our team. Finally the cloud is off and our competition can't negative recruit against us because of the looming probation we have faced for years.

- "We need to play 60 minutes of good football."
- "There are no easy games in this league."
- "We can't afford to look past this team."
- "I liked what I saw today."
- "I'm happy with the way that our guys performed today."
- "There was great [insert adjective here - excitement, enthusiasm, energy, swagger, etc.] today at practice."
- "We have a long way to go" or "We're not where we need to be yet, but we're getting closer."
- "We have to focus on the fundamentals."

The problem is the near zero NIL money for basketball. Whether it’s him or the boosters there is no money. Hard to get players like that.

LSU has never won a national championship in men’s basketball. The fact is, only Kentucky, Florida and Arkansas have actually won at least one national championship from among all 14 SEC schools.
