You do realize these games are scheduled a few years in advance typically right? It isn't always easy to predict the future and know who is going to be undefeated 4 years from now. Penn State and Virginia Tech (Alabama opponents) aren't exactly shitty football programs.

You know Alabama is afraid of a true home/home. Saban's all for them coming down to Ttown. But, he's not a fan of heading on the road.

Yep. This is exactly my point. When you schedule a program like Penn State and Virginia Tech, you are clearly trying to get a good football program on your schedule. You can't predict how they will be in that given year. Hell, Florida was a fricking joke last year.

I just don't see how any team from any of the listed leagues can be "made" to play an SEC team. Especially if it is not a home & home set up. Tell me exactly how the league office will assist LSU in scheduling any team from those conferences.LSU tried for yrs to schedule Mich. Bo insisted on a 2 for 1 set up. Get ready for a schedule full of teams from the lower tiers of the Big 12 & ACC.

Lower tier Acc or Big 12 is still better than McNeese or ULL. Not saying I want to play say Kansas but that is still a hell a lot better than some of the crap we schedule on the regular.

I really hope strength of schedule plays a role in this new CFB Playoff format.
