My biggest issue with it isn't that they use half of it for the ads, but that they don't use it to display game info. I figured they'd have all of the regular info (down and distance, TOL which they don't display, score, game clock, etc.), but I also thought there would be real time stats updated as the game went on. I'd get over the ads, if they would put useful info on it. Right now, it's mostly a $7 million billboard.

I don't have a problem with the ads. they're not always on display, like they were with the old scoreboard. the ads weren't shown during replays and the player intros plus other times, I think.
