I live in midcity so I'm a little biased, but Finn McCools is great for Saints games. If it's half as good for LSU games it would be a good place. Bayou Beer Garden is great. Lots of outdoor seating and TV's. Cooter Browns, Tracy's, Walk-Ons, Mannings, Lucy's (if they're projecting onto the brick facade across the street), or you could head to Metairie and hit up the chain spots like Buffalo Wild Wings or Twin Peaks or Bobby Hebert's Cajun Cannon. There's also tons of dives that will have the game and cheap beer like Henry's or J&J's sports bar in the Bywater.

Lots of non LSU dirtie hippies, cheap booze though and free cigarette smoke.

I like catching Saints games through the window at Parkview. Fun crowd.

Come to think of it, that's probably my backup plan.

More words to the wise: If you ARE planning on passing out coat the back of your neck with icy hot. That'll learn em.

Cash only and small TVs. No bueno.

I go there almost every weekend, and they got new TV's. Plus $2-3 beers with $4-5 mixed drinks. Cant beat cheap drinks

They might have another game on - especially if Tulane is playing but they'll show the shite out of LSU game. Hey! And then you can give yourself liquid-hot diarrhea with a debris poboy!

The aforementioned Eater.com list.

I'm not sure I would agree with all of these, but Capdeville, Bayou Beer Garden, Cooter Brown's, Tracey's or Barrel Proof will all do you well.

Both Bayou Beer Garden and Cooter Brown's are great spots. With great beer selection.
