You and RB can keep making blanket statements without anything to back up your reasoning, that's fine.

Nicholls 3 LSU 1 - 2009
Nicholls 6 LSU 5 - 2023

Maybe LSU should keep the trend going

There has been more than one person bringing up your lack of intelligence in this post but expecting you to pick up on that is probably asking too much.

I’m not trying to be mean to you bc I’m sure life is hard enough for you as it is, so I’ll just leave it at this.

You are wrong on this one. Stanfield is not untouchable or at least wasn’t early on in the SEC schedule. The difference between him and someone like Curiel/Brown in CF wouldn’t be big enough to justify keeping him in the lineup if he wasn’t hitting.

There are literally 4 guys who could go 0 for their next 30 and will remain in the lineup. 3 are in the infield and the other is in left. (Even RB won’t agree with this take)

You can argue semantics all you want but it doesn’t make you right. Stanfield was benched after having a terrible game at the plate. That is a fact that you admitted yourself. No matter how you want to twist it in your head, it happened. On the other hand, even an injury didn’t keep someone like Curiel out of the lineup as they just moved him to DH.

Thankfully for all of us he has gotten it going and hopefully we don’t have to worry about it for now.

If it makes you feel better I don’t think you're as crappy of a poster as someone like Burreaux. Just take the L on this one and move on.

And not one has posted a specific example of why they believe I am so dumb. I know RB10 was mad that I said we shouldn't have used Cowan in the game in which we were up 8-2 and he says that I cry like a child after every game that we lose, but he won't give a specific post that backs up his statements.

I have never said Stanfield was untouchable. When RB10 made that post about Stanfield possibly getting benched, he was 7-25 in SEC play for a .280 average. So if you are asking me if I think there is any way Stanfield is getting benched for hitting .280 in SEC play, I would say there is zero chance of that happening.

I guess we just have differences on what we consider "benched". I don't consider not starting a single midweek game, then being brought in after one AB is that same game is really getting benched. In 2023 only 2 players played in every game. Last year only 2 players played in every game. Just because someone misses a single at bat in a midweek game doesn't mean that they are getting benched.
