Seems whoever gets 18 sucks, so lets give it to a backup scout team kid.

I'd give Spencer Ware #18 (because he's badass) and let Gunner Kiel have his high school number #11.

Doesn't it usually go to someone who has shown superb leadership ability and such?

I love Ware but getting suspended during an important stretch of the season doesn't help his chances.

If it's not one of the seniors that I mentioned earlier it's going to be Alfred Blue based on everything he's gone through this past year.

I mean, Clement, L.Edwards, Branch, Downs, Hurst, PJ, Kinchen, T.Edwards, Alleman are basically the Seniors listed for next year.

It would have been either Mo, RR, or RS if they stayed, but unless it goes to a JR instead of a SR money has to be on Clement?

I figured him or Lavar would be the leading candidates.

Lavar has been pretty selfless his entire career IMO especially this season after starting as a sophomore in a lot of games and was relegated more to the rotation and special teams and didn't hear a peep outta him. No rule against him wearing the number being as he's on the d-line.

I think Blue if it's an offensive player or I would like to see Mingo if it's on the defensive side!

True. If it's not a SR it's got to be Reid or Blue. I'm leaning more toward Reid, just because he's the one you hear the most ppl say didn't quit.

Why isn't it possible? There aren't any rules for d-linemen to have number restrictions - Ego Ferguson wears #9...

I think Clement will have a great shot at it. He will be one of the team leaders on this team this year. Will suck because I will have to change the first 8 to a 1 on my jersey

Idk if we can call this one based on who we'd like to see wear the number or who our favorite players are. From what I understand the player who has the number passes it down and it goes to the player who has overcome the most hardship even if they're not a major impact player a.k.a richard murphy

probably better to chill on this one for now
