well, one, no one outside of Baton Rouge would give two shits about that story because maybe .5 percent of the sports watching population cares about college baseball.
two, nothing exciting happened in that era. sure, they won a bunch but what controversy was there? No crazy personalities like Da U that will get people interested. No crazy obstacles overcome... see how it wouldn't appeal to a national audience?
