I expect him to be awesome, but there ware some awesome blocking in the offense line. I don't know if he can expect that at LSU.Time will tell.

I also agree that this young man will win a Heisman at LSU, and I never thought that about any recruit we've ever had.
On the slowing up before scoring......I noticed it too. If I'm a coach, here's what I tell LF about that. Nothing. While I'm not suggesting that he doesn't need coaching, until he gets caught from behind while dicking off like that, I tell him nothing. He's just one of those special kids that makes it look easy. Like someone else said, I also love the fact that he doesn't act a fool when he scores. Just throws the ball back to the ref, like he's been there before.
The one thing I think I like about this young man more than the measurables, if that's even possible, is his attitude. From everything I'm hearing, he's from a good family, sound academically, good team mate, all that. VERY important.
Oh, can be block?
j/k on the blocking.
Can't wait to see him in our tones of purple and gold.

These highlights remind me of Marcus Dupree in high school. If you haven't seen the ESPN 30-for-30 special on Dupree you should watch it. Guy was unbelievable. Good recruiting stories too...

I 100% agree with this, especially the part about those saying LF "not running hard/slowing up".
Dupree did that (at least it looked like that on his high school films) too.
It's crazy to watch. People like Terrence McGee, Spencer Ware...those types? They run with a mean streak. Cecil Collins ran with kindofa mean streak.
Adrian Peterson, LF, Sanders....they just seem to never get hit.
Walter Payton? mean streak.
Jeremy Hill? to me, seems to more find the hole, and not get hit, not that he's scared to get hit or anything like that.
Lots of different ways to be great I guess.

2013/2014 OL Classes...so far.
William Clapp 4*
Garrett Brumfield 4*
Andy Dodd 4*
Josh Boutte 4*
KJ Malone 3*
Ethan Pocic 4*
Blocking will not be a problem.

There is a thread about Fournette on some Michigan board from back in July, their reaction to the run @ 3m33s was hilarious.

Wow dude is a fricking hoss. Not often I get excited about recruits but the thought of him and hill back there is scary!

his speed is ridiculous at that size. It doesn't even look like hes trying and he just pulls away from everyone

Mike Ford was 5'10 200 pounds coming out of high school. Cornerback size, fail to see the correlation, or why someone would suggest Ford's speed at 5'10 200lbs was ridiculous.

LSU has seen a lot of elite prospects, and they all have "ridiculous" highlight reels.
After reading MF's bio on LSUsports, I'm a little surprised people aren't disappointed he never lived up to a December NYC invite...
Proved to be nearly unstoppable during his senior season at Leesville High School while rushing for 2,953 yards and 29 touchdowns en route to a first-team 4A all-state selection in 2008 ... Wrapped up the regular season with an impressive 443-yard, six-touchdown performance against Tioga ... Led his team to the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs in 2008 ... In his final high school game in a playoff loss to Zachary, rushed 39 times for 299 yards and 3 TDs ... Capped senior season with nine games of 200-yards or better and finished career with 20 straight 100-yard games, a streak that dated back to 2006 ... Broke Leesville rushing record as a senior with 2,447 yards, topping the previous mark of 2,143 set by former LSU standout Cecil Collins in 1994

Ford was a great prospect but he isn't in the same category as Fournette.
