No. The defense won the game. The offense didn't do anything to win that game. 6 points is never enough. JJ led 1 scoring drive in 3 quarters and that was a FG. I don't think it's a big stretch to say we still would've scored at least 6 points in regulation if Lee stayed in

It's even less of a stretch to say Lee would've given bama more points. See how that works?

Maybe not. Also not a big stretch to say Bama would have probably scored 21+ if he had as well.

You're right. In fact Lee actually did get 3 points in that game...for Alabama.

Again? Really? So, I will again say.... we need both of em... we need Lee's arm, and we need JJ's legs... This has been demonstrated on the field and is not just my opionion... Lets just accept it, until next season when, it appears that we will have a QB with the arm and ability to take that position to the next level..

Are you really trying to say Lee coming in for 1 drive where we have to score a touchdown to win the game and doing it is the same thing as JJ coming in in the second quarter and leading our offense to 3 points the rest of the game?

Thank God we had both of them this year. Exhibit 1: Shadygate - thank God for Lee
Exhibit 2: Bama - thank God for JJ

Going forward I really don't care who the starter is, as long as it's whoever the coaches think gives us the best chance to win a BCS title. I just think the coaches believe that guy is JJ. And that does not bother me one bit.

Are you really saying that coming in for 1 drive when you get to use all four downs to get a first down against a gassed defense is the same as trying to score when you only get to use three downs to get a first?

Last minute drives to win games are easy and done routinely. Especially by what the JJ family/friends describe is a bad QB.

I mean it was so easy, they left JJ on the bench and let Lee do it TWICE last year.

Maximum of 4 games left - the good news - we are only 5 short months from 2 full years of "Mett versus Randall" threads.

Joy.
