All that means is that strong couldn't coach.

That's cool. You're entitled to your opinion. In my opinion, Strong's a pretty good coach. He's got a 70-45 overall record. He was 37-15 at Louisville and he's 17-8 at South Florida. He went 16-21 at Texas.

The record he had at Texas wasn't due to his coaching in my opinion, I think the problem he had was the culture at Texas.

Lawrence will go in the late 2nd round next year probably. Chaisson has 1st ability. Fohoko will be a mid to late round guy. Ika could very well be a first round pick one day. The o-line right now has no early round guys but several could be late round. Ingram one day could be a top 3 round guy. So could Chasen Hines as he reminds me of Trai Turner.

Nah, they're the same poster. Goldfish just has a softer approach.

Oh wow, really going out on a limb there as usual.

You have some really worthless opinions.

This from the guy who flip flops from one day to the next

One day we have no proof we will improve, the next claiming two losses is underachieving

Probably close. Lots of talent up front this year. Need shelvin and Ika to eat some space though. If they can occupy a couple guys of front in their rotation, Lawrence could play himself into round one consideration.

We have a weakness on the defensive line

Louisiana has a good list of DL player this year and we should get our pick but this year OL players is lacking and OL is a bigger concern with this team than DL.

The difference between LSU and BAMA is quality and depth in the trenches and has been.

Our QB's have not been great but with better OL play they may have developed better

In the composition the talent rating, UT was two spots beyond LSU in 2018

They don't have a talent problem.

you’ve completely forgotten the only reason O was hired was because of continuity and it wasn’t a rebuild. A rebuild is what Herman took over at UT.

This is not factual. Strong did not recruit poorly while at UT.
No doubt that Miles left Orgeron some talent but it wasn’t as rich and certainly not as deep as many believe. LSU didn’t want “continuity” since the program was stagnant.

It would be absolutely amazing the difference just 1 elite blue chip LT would make to this team. LSU would immediately go from a top 10 team to a top 4 team with championship expectations. The defense is always going to be championship quality with Aranda but adding one big time LT that you can leave on an island by himself against the other teams best pass rusher all game long without help would change the entire offense. You’d no longer have to worry about sending help to the blindside or holding the RB or TE in to protect. You could run more empty back sets with 5 WR spreading the defense out and wearing them down. You can get away with a mediocre RT as long as he is a strong run blocker, LSU has for years (think Vadal Alexander, Jerald Hawkins, Toby Weathersby). Saadiq Charles would go from a liability at LT to a strength at RT immediately.

So you think Texas is better than GA? Not even gonna argue. Like I said, it was very clear ga didn't wanna be there.

Your love fest for Texas will be interesting when we open the season.

So now we didn't have that much talent. This shite changes by the thread.

if we didn't have a lot of talent then people shouldn't have been so upset that we went 9-3* in 2015.

His entire agenda is to undermine O. He will say whatever it takes to shite on O, whether it makes sense or not. He is in that group with posters like damone. Whether trolling or serious, either way straight up losers.

That’s what happens when you have 8 straight #1 classes.

Consensus 4 star DTs go and ride pine for 2 years.

I think LSU did a bad job of recruiting linemen, both offensive and defensive linemen in the past 5-7 years.

Vadal Alexander
Hunter
Pocic
Herron
Gilmore
Brumfield
Godchaux
Teuhuma
Weathersby
Okeke
Lawrence
Alexander
Campbell
Logan
Allen

That’s miles’ OL and DL blue chips (4 and 5 star) from 2012-2016.

Did they all pan out? No. But check out their offers out of HS. If you want to say Miles and his staff evaluated poorly, then so did most of the SEC and top programs in America.
