I agree with Jet12.
I am of the opinion that the field would be in better condition in the Fall, if it was not replanted every year after Bayou Country.
(but I admit that I am not a doctor of turfology)

Yeah, if they re-sod it the condition of it should be about the same every year.
Just saying...he should get some recognition for his work.
Also, I hate when they kill that poor grass. It's really soft. <3

I was once at Tiger Bar and that dude Wardell was in there frickin hammered like 3 or 4 years ago. He was good friends with Tiger Todd. He used to be a main groundskeeper of the Box.

he's also the guy in charge of painting the foul lines before every baseball game...I doubt I've ever seen him sober, but I'll be damned if he doesn't make the straightest lines

I hope he still wears that white cowboy hat. he kept misplacing it and accusing people of stealing it.

I've never seen him without a cowboy hat. I doubt I'd recognize him.
