Trent Johnson is the only coach in the last 50 years to not bring in big time talent to LSU and that’s only because he made no attempt to recruit any players.

Nice melt. Let me guess you still live with your parents Look I liked Wade and he really got us back to relevancy but he was limited in his game day coaching and the teaching of fundamentals. I have no doubt that Woodpecker will bring us a solid coach.

p.s. I hate that the cuck admin didn't back him like Kansas backed Self and Auburn backed Pearl but that is the woke corporate America we live in unfortunatey.

Previous LSU coaches are not the standard to compare Wade to. The other coaches in the SEC is now the bar and the only standard that matters.

Wade was talking to the wrong guy at the wrong time. He'll be prohibited from coaching for a bit and then resurface. Just like Bruce Pearl, and John Calipari, and Kelvin Sampson, and Eddie Sutton, and on and on. All while LSU may return to the abyss of below average basketball for 3 more decades.

So your contention is that Wade can recover from this but LSU basketball cannot?

I know this a narrative that seems popular on this board amongst those unhappy with the decision to let Wade go, but it completely ignores the reality that the NCAA has proof that Wade paid hush money and Armstrong offered illegal inducements to recruit Cisse in the middle of an ongoing investigation. This situation is in no way similar to Kansas or Auburn. The NCAA has Wade and LSU dead to rights. There is no other reasonable response but firing Wade.

Come back one year from right now with that same post and I can bet we won’t even talking about b-ball after a 1-17 SEC record.
