I realize you probably think this is some "gotcha'" question, but it isn't.

I simply expect this AD and subsequently this Head Coach to do what any other company would do when attempting to hire someone...and that's hire the best available candidate for the position. not the closest person to them in the room at the time.

There is NO justification for having even interviewed, let alone hired, Ed Orgeron to replace Miles who replaced Saban. None. I'm also not an athletic director, but feel free to attempt to justify hiring a man who is his only full time head coaching experience had a 10-25 record. That was an abysmal hire.

Likewise, Orgeron has now made 2 separate OC hires. At first most (even frickfaces like Ree) were touting just what a fantastic hire Canada was. He was my choice as well, FWIW. Then, it became obvious Orgeron seemed to have no idea what scheme he planned to run when he hired him, or had done no basic research on the kind of guy he was to work with, and then suddenly Matt Canada's offensive scheme sucks and he's a cancer.

I'll concede both for the sake of argument both...then that's 100% on Orgeron for having done so little reseach and hired such a horrendous fit. Hilarious.

He then fired him causing yet ANOTHER buyout, and replaces him with a man who has not been a full time OC since Bill Clinton was in the White House. and even when he WAS, was never considered elite by anyone. None of that is a personal shot at Ensminger, who I both like and respect as actually having been a Tiger himself. But that, again...was a shitty hire.

You want to argue that any of those were good hires?

And no...he gets no credit for retaining Arranda...a Miles hire who is only here for the money and what seems to have been a handshake deal to take over, else he'd have bolted for A&M when they came calling with even more money than we offered.
