Wait a minute. I am confused. The Rant has been telling me all week that if we don't get BeBe, or YawYaw, or whatever the frick his name is, then LSU as a football program and as a university in general will collapse and cease to exist as we know it. After talking with my guys, they made a good point. If Brick Haley was 100% then why isn't this a done deal. It would not take much money, if any, to get him to agree. The reason he hasn't is because there are other options being looked at as we speak

Yessir good point. If you were going to promote Haley, why let the media report that you are interviewing a bunch of legit candidates only to later promote a lackluster one? Would be egg on Miles and Alleva's faces.

I don't know if Shoop was the number one but it had more to do with no one really thought he would leave PSU being that that's where he is from although IMO LSU is the better job hands down. As for as Bebe no one wanted him as DC but with say Clancy or Brick which would still IMO not be as good as getting Shoop which will no doubt be a home run hire if we get him.
