Not my all time favorite but 2005 Russell to Bowe in OT to beat then #3 bama in tuscalame. Got to be in the top ten.

Absolutely skulldragging UGA in the SECCG in 03 34-13. A lot of people thought that they were the better team after the first matchup that year, so naturally they'll beat us on, essentially, their home turf right? fricking wrong.

I don't think I could point to just one moment as my favorite, there are so many.

The drive against UF in '07 was absolutely nails. I couldn't talk for 3 days.

How 'bout the pick in the SEC Champ Game in '07. Jonathan Zenon.

Russell to Doucet at Arizona State on 4th and 10.

The entire defensive performance against Oklahoma in '03 Champ game. They completely dominated Oklahoma. If not for the last drive Oklahoma had, they would not have had 100 yards total offense.

4th Qtr of the 1994 Auburn LSU game......3 interceptions returned for TDs in the last 13 minutes of the game......wow...just wow. 31-28 Auburn Final......the other AU TD was a blocked punt recovered fumble in the endzone.

03 UGA - Skyler Green catch

Freshman year, tailgated all night then day. Went to the stadium early to get a good seat. Matt Mauck hits Skyler directly in front of me. Never will forget how excited I was when Mauck started rolling out. It was like you knew something incredible was about to happen. That was the moment, to me atleast, that I knew LSU football had arrived.

Don't bring this up if you are not willing to say the same thing about both our recent national championships.

For me? 1979 versus USC.

I recall the 82 vs Florida State game to go to the Orange Bowl. Was there and had a blast with throwing those oranges on the field . Image that occurring now!!

That was amazing because of the drought we had been through.

Oh yeah... You have to be our age to understand it. I had a date in the student section and the crown went down real smooth...

I have a bunch of favorite moments.. the '97 win when Fla was #1 was my first time going to a game as a student.. Cedric Donaldson was my favorite LSU Tiger for a long time after that game.

Seeing Domanick Davis's punt return for a TD against Miss State in '02 was awesome..we had great seats for that game and he caught it right in front of us

My latest favorite moment is the entire VT game from '07..I think that was the best I have ever seen out of LSU's football program. Absolute domination of a top 10 team

That game will always be the most special to me Tigertown because of how great that USC team was (what three NFL Hall of Famers and two Hiesman winners, etc, etc. on that team) and because it was in my youth and nothing compares to passion borne of youth.

But for one moment I don't think I ever got goosebumps and was more fired up than when Herb Tyler ran that option in from 40 yards vs. No. 1 Florida in '97. I thought we had no chance in that game till that happened.

Agree.

The buildup was incredible. We heard rumors of how USC was practicing with speakers blaring at the field to get "ready for the crowd." It only fired us up more to be sure there was nothing that could prepare them for what they would face.

We were so outmanned, and they needed a comeback and a blown call to beat us 17-12.

And the crowd that night, mired in mediocrity as a program, was simply amazing.

Recently talked to a former player on that LSU team, I think Ivan Phillips was his name.

He played head up with Anthony Munoz. Said the first play of the game Munoz drove him 40 yards downfield.

Munoz is univerally regarded as the best offensive lineman in football history, so no shame in that...he's able to laugh about it today.
