The Florida Defensive line and the Linebackers are brutal. Most points allowed this season was 13 against Tennessee. The LSU O-line has to have their best day... No stomache viruses, no vomiting, no excuses, no mistakes. If not Jordan Jefferson could have a miserable evening.

Dude, who have they played? Troy, The Citadel, Kentucky?

And Tennessee's offense sucks.

C'mon Les, and the "Wizard"! We need some creative play-calling. Something to counteract the aggressive, fast Gator defense. Screens? Draws? (and not that infamous "middle screen"). Not sure what the deal is w/ the O-line, given that 3 of the starters from last yr are back and they are "supposed" to be good (Hitt, Barksdale, Black). Has anyone focused on watching the O-line this yr -- are individual players (T-Bob, Dworkcyak?) not up to snuff, or are the coaches putting them in bad situations with predictable play-calling, or having them sit on their haunches for too long in the so-called "no huddle" offense?

I believe that the team will play to the task. Saw good signs last week. Continued improvement. We know we got the tools to get it done. Have faith in them and yell like you've never yelled before because the team is going to need you.

I have faith, i really do. I'm also saying that I hope the O-line has an outstanding evening.

Me too. It is like at this point they have to. Making or breaking the season is all on this game.

While Pittman constantly claims that he's no expert on line play, he sure does give a good effort by putting in the time to see what's going on and delivers this analysis. It seems the the O-line are very good, but, well, just read the article...

As for Florida, even if the O-line is able to perform well, I expect JJ to take a few sacks, and here's why: The secondary he's facing this Saturday will be the fastest and most clever he's ever faced, and unless he's quickened his decision making time substantially this week in practice, he's going to have a hard time checking down receivers and noticing where the safeties and backers are. With that said, I look forward with much enthusiasm to Ciron stepping up to play against Dunlap.

Tennesse has a good running game and LSU.....not so much. Maybe you haven't watched your offense play, but quarters 1-3 of the UGA game was close to watching paint dry.

2-3 really, although red zone was a problem in Q1 the team moved the ball. LSU has some playmakers though, it's possible to shut them down pretty much through out the game and have them still pop 4 big plays for TD's.

I wouldn't just talk about who we have played this year. You might want to back up all the way to last season. Take a look. Its the same defense.

Worries me too. I've commented more than once about Shep running his usual, up the field, into the teeth of the D. I just hope that Miles gets him the hell out in the open, where the guy has a fighting chance. If not, he's liable to end up like Tebow. They throw the man around like he was a rag doll. Dammit...it pisses me off...talented young guy, put in a position that aint good for him or the team. Oh well.
