My biggest concern is not replacing Joe Brady the WR coach

This thread is not a knock on Joseph, just gets understandably lost in the mix how impactful Brady was with the WRs.

i love how brady was such a big part of our offense last year and now that some people are questioning his replacement it’s not that big of a deal cause he’s “just the passing game coordinator”

His impact was far reaching right down to his relationship with the players.

the jump the WRs made in one year was every bit as miraculous as the one Burrow made.
we just went backwards by a hundred miles, there is nothing is SLs very well documented history to suggest he can do ANY of the things Brady did, you could describe him for a hundred years and the word "innovative" wouldnt come up once.

totally agree, Our Wr's were the most improved in the country thanks to Brady, i hope mickey wrote and remembered those drills

exactly. we needed a spread oriented, innovative mind to come in and help keep this offense rolling. he got fired specifically because he wasn’t bringing anything new to his outdated scheme. just don’t think he’s the best fit for what we’re trying to do

Remember we added the assistant coach from the Saints who is a wr coach and has trained under curtis Johnson

WR coach for Vikings (coached Randy Moss)
WR coach for Dolphins
WR coach for Dolphins

What a shite hire. From Brady to back in time
Posted on 2/10/20 at 6:36 pm to VAtigerfanz
and calvin johnson and dez bryant.
whoever doesnt think this hire is a grand slam is out of their minds. I dont think there is another college program that could possibly draw this level of coach to this position except lsu right now. We ballin boys. The LSU monster has been awoken.

People still don’t give Steve Ensminger credit.
Everyone points to the jump from 2018 to 2019 - while ignoring the fact that 2018 was Steve’s first year as OC, and he had a QB that arrived in August.
Scott will be a good addition, but Steve is the OC. And he’s a damn good one.
