Murphy just doesn't have it

he does not have the burst and just does not seem to be the player that he could have been prior to his injuries. I know miles is dedicated to his seniors, but ford is the same type back but more explosive and a better runner

I agree as well. I feel bad for him but he does not need to touch the ball except for this weekend.

I was thinking the same thing. A back that doesn't want contact can never be successful. He seems to run like he's afraid to get hurt.

Murphy is too light in the arse for the cuts he makes, he has the build of a speedy guy who needs to get into open field but he routinely cuts back in and tries to take on players bigger than he is. Cant blame the guy for trying though. Many guys just aren't the same after knee surgery.

For whatever reason, Murphy has never played the position he was best suited for-a receiver in the mold of Josh Reed. I don't know if it's because he never wanted to play anything but rb or the coaches refused to try him there but this is one case where a player was badly misused.

he must practice well to convince the coaches to get him on the field occasionally.
