Mulkey needs to get Va Tech player Georgia Amoore now in portal

If Kentucky is a done deal, she could have just announced she was going to KY. Maybe she is, maybe she isn't. She has 1 year left and KY's season was a dumpster fire...12-20 and 4-12 in the SEC. Yes, the VT coach Brooks got hired at KY but unless they improve dramatically, KY isn't going anywhere. I don't think the no contact status means squat. All that means is she has her own list in mind (maybe KY only we'll see) and doesn't want to be hassled by dozens of programs. Also, if she wants to go to a proven winner with a desperate need for PG, LSU might be her destination.

Also, I remember after last year's semifinal game in the "good game" line afterwards, Mulkey and Amoore hugged like mother and daughter or something. I told my brother at the time how strangely animated that was. Amoore had that big smile on her face and might have been laughing (maybe Kim told a joke). Usually a losing team's player isn't that joyful. Every other player I remember from VT in that handshake line was crying or had cried.
