It's obvious you did'nt even see the games you mention. Don't guess you saw the extra extra point the Zebras allowed Aubie in 2004 either. Or the 2006 Ref Gate game.

You know not what you speak. It's well known and clear as day what has been going on in Jordan Hare. National article about Arkansas getting hosed last weekend in CFN. I'm not making excuses. I'm stating fact. If LSU is to win, they will have to also beat the referees. LSU fans know and understand this. We're up for the challenge.

Well Said!

If Aubie fans want to come in here an talk about matchups and who has the better team, etc... that's cool. But don't even bring up officiating... 'cause that just removes any credibility.

Since you asked, here's a great one to start with:

LSU/Auburn '06

I know you won't actually watch it, but there it is anyway.

I'm sure the officials will make mistakes in the game today. They are human. Hopefully not game changing mistakes. Hopefully not blatant mistakes to either team's advantage. Hopefully it'll just be a case of the best team winning.

Good luck!

I have seen that video and watched it half a dozen times. Like I said, the worst of the calls was the catch and fumble ruled incomplete. The PI call that LSU fans STILL yap about was not even PI, which makes LSU fans look not so bright.

And I was going to let it go, but since you felt compelled to post a video I have seen over half a dozen times, here you go...

1. 2007 AU -LSU not enough men on line of scrimmage. Hester scores TD on 3rd down, flag is picked up.

2. 2007 AU - Game winning drive. Hester stopped a yard and a half short resulting in 4th down. AU stops LSU, game is over (even after #1 above went in LSU's favor).

3. 2007 AU - 3rd Quarter. Bad spot again results in first down for LSU

4. 2009 AU - Aweful PI calls against AU in first quarter resulting in LSU lead.

5. 2009 AU - Defensive delay of game called on AU. No explanation given. Announcers have no clue. Keeps LSU drive alive for TD.

6. 2009 AU - Bogus personal foul on AU leads to more first quarter points and big lead for LSU

7. 2009 AU - False start called on AU after two LSU defenders jump into neutral zone. Next possession, EXACT same thing happens but AU is flagged on defense.

Quotes from AL writer and LSU website after those two games:

As for my LSU review, here it is: Auburn's rhythm was knocked off-kilter early in the game by some ridiculously one-sided calls that even the most avid football fan had never heard of. Have you ever seen a defensive delay of game that didn't occur in the last few seconds of the game? Yeah, Auburn got called for one in the first few minutes. The Tigers were also flagged for a false start when Andrew McCain's butt flinched after two Bengal Tigers jumped offsides and far into the neutral zone. The very next drive, two LSU offensive lineman completely jumped out of their stance because one of our guys jumped offsides for a second. Both were completely the same situation, yet Auburn was flagged for both.0
Share 6 Comments Then there was the personal foul, leading with the helmet, hitting a defenseless receiver penalty that was called against Zac Etheridge on a dropped pass on third down. Watch the replay and you will see that Etheridge starts his hit, which was completely led with his hands (see the picture up there), before the receiver drops the ball. His momentum led him into the hit, which was definitely not late.

We can talk about calls like this all day, but they won't get changed. What does happen, though, is that defenders start to play soft the rest of the game because they are scared they are going to get called for pass interference anytime they get near a receiver.
Auburn started off decent on the first drive, got behind because of LSU's ref- and turnover-assisted touchdowns, and couldn't catch back up. Nothing seemed to work, except the run defense, save that one long play late in the game.

LSU beat Auburn 30-24 last night in an exhilerating finish that made Death Valley quake like in 1988. Here are 5 honest, objective reasons why LSU won. I'm an LSU fan, but the reasons why are the reasons why. Let's begin:

1. THE OFFICIATING CREW: Let's be real here: This game is dramatically different if two easy calls are made by the refs. Both favored LSU. Midway through the fourth quarter, a Jacob Hester touchdown was allowed to stand after a lengthy review, even though a replay clearly showed LSU had only six men (seven is the minimum) on the line of scrimmage. Not only would the penalty have negated LSU's touchdown, but it would have backed them up 5 yards as well, putting in doubt a TD play. Again, with just under two minutes left, LSU running back Richard Murphy — trying to convert a 3rd and 3 — was tackled at Auburn's 38 and after hitting the ground he bounced forward at the 38 and a half yard line, right where the first down was. The spot was more than generous for Murphy, it was simply crazy. Yet, the SEC replay booth didn't deem the play fit to review and LSU was able to avoid a 4th and short. Would they have gotten it? Probably. But it's unfair not to give Auburn a chance to defend a 4th and short. Incredibly, on both calls, Auburn's Tommy Tuberville refused to challenge the calls, which brings us to the next reason why Auburn lost.

That works for me. Because unfortunately, the refs have impacted the winner and loser of the AU/LSU game 3 of the last 4 years and two of the three have gone in LSU's favor.

That is all I have to say about it.

The only argument the Aubies have is to counter with some supposedly bad calls, for they and everyone else knows the blatant favoritism the in-state Alabama refs administer. What LSU fans have documented are not just BAD CALLS, but GAME CHANGING CALLS. Like the EXTRA EXTRA POINT given Auburn to win the game in the last second in 2004. Auburn fans en masse have collectively known to "not go there" as far as making claims about egregious game changing calls. Any honest Aubie knows LSU has been fricked numerous in the last decade from bona-fide wins!! Move on to another thread Aubie, for you've got NO argument NONE. LSU still OWNS your arse despite the blatant cheating.
