we were extremely luck to win in 2007, thats a fact. we almost squandered by far the best team in the country

not the case in 2003

If USC would have beaten Cal, our embarrassing loss to a very average Florida team lead by a true FR--AT HOME--would have done the same thing(i.e. squandered the best team in the country). So yeah, we almost did that year as well. It was just in October instead of late November.

But I stand by this thread fricking sucks cock. As do most of it's participants.

Again, trying to compare this to three NC hopefuls getting upset in the last week of the season is ridiculous.

1 loss by 1 team is much less lucky than multiple losses by multiple teams

Yea, listen to the sabanintes. LSU should always shut out every opponent, double them up, at least, in every stat and do this without having to even play the first string.

no, but we shouldn't lose to UK with a 17 point lead or Arkansas in the last regular season game while ranked #1.

How about trying to address a point instead of posting fallacious, unintelligent, and retarded bullshite?

The '03 defense was better. The '07 team was a little more hot/cold. The '07 team was clearly up for the big games. '03 did hang 114 points combined on Arizona and Arkansas (crushing Arizone in Tuscon). '07 beat Florida, of course, in maybe the biggest regular season game in Tiger Stadium history (1979 USC notwithstanding). '03 was sluggish against UGA in TS, and @ Oxford. '07 did lose to Kentucky and Arkansas.

'07 registered wins against: Florida, Auburn, Alabama and Tennessee, plus big OOC wins against VT and tOSU.

Slight edge to '07 in "impressiveness", but they are close (except to the Sabanistas who cannot believe they are even remotely close - or that '07 was only impressive insofar as it can be credited to the "Dear Leader").

AGREE with this. But what about AU in 07??? Or SC in 07??? Or An avaerage Bama team in 07[ that lost to ULM?????]

And what happened the next time they met???????

Its a close vote, BUT The edge goes to 03 because of the domination the 03 team showed after losing to FLA the only close game was at Ole Miss. And beat a much better team in the NC game.
