It it possible that what he said was ' a player hit 22 mph only 2 times' and ' since then 'a player hit 22 mph 20 times'?
Meaning the occurrence....not unique players. Perhaps the same player does it multiple times. The point being they are fresh and rested and strong.
I know you excluded Ole Miss.....but, just as an example, LF likely did it at least 3 times.

LF reached 22.9 during OM game, recorded by gps from the devices they wear.
Guice has been recorded at 22.5, also on gps.
TigrLee timed his dog with a speedometer in a vehicle which are known to have significant variances.
So, I would have to think Tre, Donte, DJ could all easily be in that range. Moffit talked about this and gave those exact numbers on Culotta's show Monday. No link but I'm sure you could check out the podcast and find it.

You can't be serious? Humans can absolutely hit at top speed of 22 mph

To be sure, I am not saying the same guy did it all 20 times. I am saying it is possible that itt is not 20 different guys.
So, just as an example:
Leonard
Guice
Donte
Chark
Tre White
Etc
Each do it multiple times adding up to 20 discreet occurrences.

LSU had over 20 players run over 22 mph.

To put this in perspective, the average speed of Usain Bolt when he ran the 100 meters in a record 9.58 seconds was 23.35 mph

For further perspective
[quote]Bolt’s world record of 9.58 seconds for the 100m race in Berlin 2009 (as shown in the video above) places him at a top speed of 30 mph with an average speed of 23.5 mph. Read more at LINK ]
