If she can kick a 35-40 yarder with relative ease, I'd give her a shot on the practice squad.

Do you cry and whine like a little bitch in every thread you choose to involve yourself in?

No way she kicks it farther or more accurate (short or long distances) than a male scholarship kicker already on the team.

well since you say so, no need to even continue with the tryout.

everybody realizes what the word tryout means right? it is in fact - and wait for this because its literally like breaking fricking news - an opportunity to prove yourself to become a part of the team. it is not an automatic spot. it is not a given.

so who cares if she tries out? what if she can bang out a 45 yard fg with great accuracy? would that not be an asset?

Let's let her try out. The guys on the team are salivating as we speak at the chance to feel her up underneath a tackle situation. Or let them hit her so hard in the chest(boobs) that she can't breath. Or better yet let them all take showers together and see if she can make a case for sexual harassment when she flaunts her stuff in there face.

I usually respect other people's opinions but this thread contains some really horrible logic and some really disturbed people.

First, she is being given a tryout. If she cannot perform, she won't make the team.

Second, she is not going to play even if she makes the team. She will be a third or fourth string walk-on. The most she might do is an extra point attempt in a 50 point blowout of Towson. And you know what, we'll actually get to see a highlight on ESPN, instead of ignoring that game because it is ignorable.

Third, this is one of the better ambassadors for our university. So even if you are a chauvinist pig, show a little respect.

Fourth, best I can gather, the players actually support this. It's only washed up ex-high school players who are bitter with wireless internet and a keyboard who seem bent out of shape about this.

Fifth, if you are honestly upset about this situation, back away from the computer and engage in some self-reflection. The economy, crazy Iranians, LSU basketball...things worth getting pissed about. Mo Isom...not worth getting pissed about.

P.S., it will never happen but if we happen to be beating Bama by 20+ and score late in the fourth, it would be priceless to have Mo kick the extra point and "Brad Wing" Saban.

Over the past 3 years we've seen far too many LSU kickoffs not make it into the end zone. If someone, man or women, can crush this problem give them a shot. I realize towards the end of the year LSU picked up another kicker and that short kickoff problem subsided, but still won't hurt to get another kicker.

I see no problem, whatsoever, with having another kicker on the team.

Yes because being a walkon 3rd string place kicker is the exact same thing
